As a thought, people should care a little more what they put up on Facebook and MySpace - or what they let other people put up about them. Livejournal, too, probably, though it's possible I'm seeing giant blinking letters spelling out "HYPOCRITE" above my head.

There's the internet, and then there's real life. Sometimes it's not all that separate.

I was going to get an envelope for the Jun uchiwa that I'm sending to Becky (MEIMI YOU NEVER TOLD ME HOW MUCH TO PAYPAL) and I was in the comic store and I was just like, Even I don't have the face to march down one end of UO University District to the other carrying a huge, shocking rose pink fan with Jun Matsumoto's face on it, I just can't do it. Not even to measure it for an envelope! Limits, even nerds have them. Mom however agrees that his lipstick is fabulous and she would buy it. OMG the pencil pouch--! it does fit a sock, I am full of glee.

OMG! my wish came true. Nino will apparently be starring on a new drama called Meteor Ties with Nishikido Ryo T_T don't hate me but I never really liked Ryo that much. I started watching Last Friends and though it's a fairly good drama, I have to really force myself to like Ryo... T_T But as long as I can see Nino, I can take a million Nishikido Ryo blasting my eyes. heehee.

But... when will it air? ugh. Now I really need to free a lot of space in my computer's memory to accomodate all these arashi goodies. We can do it computer-chan!!!

My back hurt. MY BACK HURTS LIKE HELL! No wait... it's not my back, it's my hips. My baka cousin accidentally hit it with the door. Nyak, I just had a funny image of my cousin carrying the heavy door and whacking me with it, but seriously, my back hurts.T_T what's the best thing to do with a hurting back?

Today, I didn't feel like getting all genki at school or at home or anywhere else. I wanted to update every single fic but I don't have the inspiration. Wanted to do something but I'm not feeling well. Ever had those times when your head just feels numb? It's not aching, you're not dizzy but you can't feel a thing. T_T Scary. Blame it on hormones.

I'm not pissed off, just not in the mood. And then I can't watch Maou 3 coz the download keeps stopping. My anti-virus got an error so I have to uninstall it, couldn't eat proper meals for a week, sleeping time's a mess and I messed up with quizzes, I'm sure of it and when the results come out, I'm dead. I cut my hair super short then I saw someone having a gorgeous long hair and I want that kind of hair too. AND MY HIPS HURT RIGHT NOW... A LOT.  What's going on with my life?! *runs away shouting* Nah but I'll be fine. It's just hormones. Just hormones...It's just hormones~ lalalala *off to wander somewhere coz I can't sleep*

Rather Surreal

Considering I'm always so self-conscious about my own writing, I can't believe I won khr_drabble's 2nd challenge (with the Yamamoto-centric ficlet). Huh, I've never won any fic challenge before (not that I've participated in enough, though I should). It's small-scale but the other entries were great so I didn't even start thinking of the prompt that was needed from the winners for the following week.

I'm so deliriously happy with shuukira's growth - we've been getting so many new members recently (and the recent spread page of epic win that the latest manga chapter gave us is making it hard for me not to do some keyboard-mashing):

I believe we are now the #1 biggest Shuuhei-pairing community on LiveJournal.

I think it'd be a bit too ambitious at this point to think that we'd ever catch up to ginkira's numbers, but being the SECOND BIGGEST Izuru-pairing LJ community is pretty damn awesome, too. 8D If there's anything the ShuuKira pairing needs, it's more love, and I'm glad that we're slowly getting it.

and a bit bout what happened yesterday. i was in the lab for my research. two unbelievably hilarious things happened:

- we got some strains of fungi as the subjects of our research. n the fungus that is assigned to me is the only one yellow in color. yellow = Nino? XD

Just came back from the Cat Sanctuary and already have two candidates in mind. No Calicos but SO CUTE OMG. Mom is still being incredibly superficial and rejecting cats on the basis of eye colour or 'not cute enough', to which I reply with 'bitch, please'. I'm looking for personality, not looks this time around, and am pretty much ready to adopt any cat that says hello.

My top choice right now is a sweet grey and white tabby female with a hoarse voice who is a total attention whore. The only negative is that she doesn't retract her claws when she's playing with you. She doesn't seem to mind being carried, though. The other one is a gorgeous mackerel tabby male, but it's got a twin with trust issues. Mao-ie had a lot of bad habits from when he was a stray in the market and we managed to get past most of them but it took years. My grandma's living with us now and she doesn't have the best understanding of how to treat cats so skittish animal + walking stick may not be the best combination. You know me and twins, I don't want to split them up.

We're going to the RSPCA to see what they've got, but I really like the grey...

Meimi, package came! :D :D :D It actually came Wednesday but the mailman was late that day and Mom was in Eugene and was too late to pick it up yesterday, so I got it today.

I keep having really vivid dreams -- like night before last I dreamed about a sentai team that apparently was associated with some sort of factory -- like they were laborers or something and had to defeat Teh Evil, and then there was a lot of business with the horrible icky ground of the factory and an apartment building that looked right into the main yard, which then morphed into 'I have to fit at least twelve people, with all associated baggage and about fifteen dressers plus seven or eight bookcases completely filled with books into the upstairs of the old farmhouse, which fortunately is slightly bigger than the actual farmhouse was'. I had somehow managed to cram three beds for the guys into a room smaller than my bedroom and had converted the open area beside it into a living area, but I hadn't started the girls' area yet, since they had the larger room where my sisters and I slept the summer we spent there, plus the attic. And then we found a smaller walk-in area for a closet for the guys. o/ I have no idea what the downstairs looked like because I was surrounded by boxes and dressers and puzzling out how to fit everything.

And then last night I think I was in/was watching a Rilla of Ingleside movie, which of course was primarily Walter and Una and included for no apparent reason the appearance of Anne's Dead Baby as an adult spirit. Whacking sense into her younger brother. That part was freaking awesome. I think there were makeouts, or at least kissyface! I kind of think it was because I was talking to Kate about her wanting to read Anne's House of Dreams but not wanting to because it wasn't fall and therefore not time for The Annual Reread.

...as I was saying to Amy, dreams like that don't even make it on my list of side effects, because it always happens. Tonight, I am hoping for a Kabuto dream! o/

Went to work, went to the partyish thing afterward, went to Emerald City and had a soothing discussion with Stu over why it was stupid that they would let you take a plastic needle on a plane but not a metal one. Dude, a Bryson 29" needle would make a very effective garrote! Plus the tips are pointed and sturdy enough that I for one would object strongly to being poked in the eye with it. But yanocchi is going to Comic Con, and they won't allow her a metal needle on the plane, so I offered to lend her a plastic one. I hope it works all right, I haven't used a plastic needle with the yarn she's using before. Must remember to bring in cone of cobweb yarn to show her, since we were talking about it. Must remember NOT to go to Soft Horizons tomorrow as apparently bitches have got in Noro Silk Garden sock yarn and I kind of want it like a burning fire in my heart and yet cannot justify it. So better not to be tempted in the first place.

Mother still buying essential oils for crazy child. Crazy child is a little afraid to imagine what rosemary and grapefruit are going to smell like mixed together.

Okay, I'm going to write another drabble and then I'm going to start a slow ooze toward bed. :Dv
